What a delight to read this book with such an expansive overview. The many Bible quotes were a surprise that helped keep focused on life in a very positive way. I could hear the author talking throughout the book as if being in her living room. A wonderful read that I plan to share with my good friends so they can mark their copies as I did in places most meaningful to me.

Very clear and concise testimony of Lynda, of what God has done for her, and is doing in her life now. We are encouraged to grow older in the Lord, doing the best possible to be lovely inside and out. Lynda even includes specific suggestions of dressing and makeup. And she lives every bit of it!

The author does a wonderful job reminding us that we can thrive through our later years. Lynda has a very conversational way to speak truth from her heart. Her life experiences include familiar themes of pain, trials, challenges and how she overcame them through faith and love. Aging gracefully is an art and Lynda teaches us how to do that in many ways. Knowing Lynda personally, I can tell you, she is living the second half of life with joy and purpose and she truly wants that for all women. Scripture and humor are found throughout the book as constant encouragement. You come away with a new vision of yourself and a new skip in your step!
Great overview of what things are truly important as we grow older! Lynda was amazingly candid in sharing her life story. Even though I've known Lynda for 40 years, I learned new things about her that make me better understand why she keeps getting more attractive on the outside and more gracious on the inside every year. Plus this book is filled with so many clever quotes. We all run across those great thoughts here and there but Lynda Murphy has been storing up the best of them for this book. I especially enjoyed the quote by George Bernard Shaw on page 78 about my life being "a splendid torch"..." burning as brightly as possible before I hand it over to future generations".
