Logan and Dana are so freakin' adorable I had a literary toothache from all the sweetness. We also have cute, endearing kids, plenty of laughter and lots of steam, but at its heart, this book is love. Love, in all of its messy, magnificent glory. It's a carefree bar owner taking on dance practice duty and an interest in ghosts to keep a child's memory of her father alive. It’s glitter and slime and “Room Dad" snacks, and embracing another's lists and need for order or their quirks and weirdness. It's care and clean-up duty during a bout with the flu and sticking through the tears, mean dance moms and hard stuff. It's the beauty in ordinary things, the small little miracles, and the peace and contentment of those in-between moments.Erin Nicholas is one of my favorite authors, so I was thrilled to be able to read an early copy of this book. I know I can count on her for an entertaining, steamy read that will tug on the heart strings, but Nicholas definitely brought her “A” game with this one! Yes, this book has passion, terrific chemistry and a heartfelt romance. There are misunderstandings and grand gestures, drying of tears and light-hearted laughter. But it’s the everyday, ordinary love, shown in a thousand different ways, that make this book truly special, because it reminds us to recognize and appreciate the love in those small, mundane acts in the minutiae of our own lives.
Truthfully, I was already half in love with Logan from the first book in the series, but he turned out to be so much more than I anticipated. Yes, he’s a charming, flirty, ladies man with a sexy drawl and a swoon-worthy grin to melt the coldest female heart, but he has surprising depth, an amazing heart and an appealing protective streak when it comes to “his girls.” I love the way an organized, in control Dana decided how she thought things between them would work and Logan blew in like a hurricane, stealing her heart and obliterating her plans. Add in Dana's two young daughters and the way they and Logan fell in love with each other, along with the poignant tenderness between them and, well, we're back to sweetness overload. Every last one of them stole my heart and I’m nose over toes in love with this precious family. This little cast of characters is one I'll hold in my heart for a long time, and obviously I recommend their phenomenal, inspiring, heartwarming, feel-good story. I can’t wait for the next book in this fantastic series!

Taking It Easy Boys of the Big Easy edition by Erin Nicholas Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
Sweet, spicy, and allllll man. The only way to describe Lohan Trahan. It was great to read a hero who not only didn't run but was ready to commit when his fling shows up pregnant. Dana on the other hand didn't find the situation at all okay and was more confused by her playboy's reaction than anything else. It took a while for these two to get it together as you would expect from two people from entirely different situations. Logan's reaction to certain dance moms was THE BEST and exactly how I would imagine him to react. Dana drove me a little crazy at how cautious she was with Logan coupled with how much she didn't want to talk things out but I understood her reasons. And Logan surprised me a few times, surprised Dana too, at how much more to him there was than the party guy. They balanced each other out and were a great fit. Dana's girls were a nice addition and stinking hilarious! I can't wait for the next book in this series!!!
4.5 stars......My expectations were set so high with the first book in this series that I didn't think this book would even come close. Boy, was I wrong. First of all, watching Logan interact with Dana's daughters was so adorable. Watching him take on the tasks of navigating homework and dance moms in such a short period of time was highly entertaining. I also like that like the first one, the book is primarily about being a parent. There's no additional subplots. However, my one complaint (and my reason for taking away half a star) is that this book did introduce a lot of extra supporting characters which were hard for me to keep track of at first. I understand it's to set up future books, but it was still a little confusing. Still, I really enjoyed this book. While the first book reminded me a lot of One Fine Day, this book reminded me a lot of the movie Mr. Mom. Can't wait to see what the rest of the series brings......

The I was hooked from the first line! Who starts a romance with “I’m going to kill you.” A really smart author, that’s who! Logan is a devil may care playboy who loves things light & easy. He’s good at fun! So, when his one night stand with single mom & widow Dana turns into a 9 month situation, everyone is surprised he’s all in. Dana isn’t sure what to do with this side of him. She keeps waiting for him to bail but he keeps stepping up. Can they have forever?
I loved these characters! Logan proves that when his heart is on the line, he can do & take anything. I loved Dana’s two girls! They have completely different personalities & yet I fell for both of them. Their interactions with Logan really stole the story for me! The way he was so protective of their feelings but yet encouraged them to grow.......WOW! The chemistry between Dana & Logan is hot & intense as are the sex scenes but I still have to say the kids sealed it for me. This was such an emotional, heartwarming story that I’m not sure how Ms. Nicholas can top it.
