Destined to Dominate truly is a story where love conquers all and has no limits, especially with such a beautiful D/s couple. It’s full of sorrow and grief, acceptance and peace, get-yourself-a-towel hotness, and a love that will last a lifetime. This will be a book that I will read over and over again and it’s no surprise that Red Phoenix wrote it. She never fails to bring out my emotions, no matter what she writes.

Captain is a man that I have absolutely fallen in love with. His courage, determination, stoicism, devotion to country, Candy, and their chosen family, are all what makes him such an amazing man. While part of me wishes he didn’t have so much grief in his life, I believe it’s what made him the man he is and that man is incredible. What he did for Candy, even though it broke his heart to do so, was just one aspect of how extraordinary he is.

Candy’s maturity belies her years. There were times that I forgot just how young she is, because the wisdom and sensibility are exceptional. If I had someone like her in my life, I’d count myself blessed. It does make my heart hurt for her because of her past experiences, but like Captain, they made her the woman she is now, and I wouldn’t dare wish to change her.

There’s so much more I want to say, but I don’t want to spoil it. Destined to Dominate is a story that brought me to tears multiple times. And I’m not talking just watery eyes and little sniffles. There were moments where that ugly cry would not be denied. Now, it’s not all just tear-jerking. There were moments where it just made my heart glow, made me proud, made me laugh and chuckle, and made me wish for a very cold shower. Thank you, Red, for this unbelievable story!

I am still trying to collect my thoughts after finishing this amazing book!Even though I’ve met Candy and Captain in her previous series, This book opened completely new point of appreciation and understanding of their dreams, determination and strength of characters. That after all tragedies and sufferings each of them overcame they ended victorious in love and life!
Loved, loved, loved every raw emotion, every victory, every confession, pure love and perseverance! I think I will be rereading this book again and again
There is really not just a few words or feelings to describe this book. There are too many! All the superlatives will be used. All I can say is when you start to read, it pulls you in and all you want to do is devour this story. Red Phoenix. What she writes is magic. She takes you on an amazing, emotional rollercoaster. So hang on tight. Every time you turn a page, you get more of who the characters are. And you end up loving them more.

With this being Candy's and Captain's story...boy do you get the emotions. Every page has you hanging on. You cry, you laugh, you smile and you love. Two people that needed to find each other to complete them. The ending is perfect and so worth seeing the path these two took. They were definitely meant to be. Even if one of them needs convincing. And as always, it great to see old friends involved in the telling of their journey. It brings joy and love to see how each one cares and respects each other.

I don't want to spoil anything, you just have to read it. You won't be able to put it down. I am so blessed as a reader and fan to have found this author. Her words will always stay with me

This book is the conclusion of Captain and Candys story. You dont want to miss their story. from start to end you are captivated by their story and at times you will find yourself holding your breath waiting to see what happens next. I wont spoil the story but I will say this.. you will be missing out on a great love story if you dont read "Safe Haven" and "Destined to Dominate".
Another book written beautifuly. I have loved this book and the previous one as much as all the others. Brie s Submission had both these characters in a few of the books. I loved hearing the story of Captain and what made him into the man he is. Candy and the woman she s become and the two together and how they grow. Then the completion of Captain getting his heart lightened and about to become whole again and forgiveness. I have cried,loved,cried more and love each and every book written by this author relating to these stories. I am anxiously awaiting the story of Sir and the man who made him Sir. I hope we are given many more books with the characters we have all enjoyed meeting and learning about.
WOW!!!!  Red Phoenix did her job Extermly well as an author.  This book left me with raw emotions, but in a good way.  There is joy that will make you smile and even laugh out loud.  You will be outraged by the injustice and cry because of it.  I was heartbroken but had to continue on this incredible journey.  Best of all was the tears joy and of closure.  I actually yelled NO!!! When I realized I had read the end of the book.  Even though there is closure in coming full circle, I was not ready for Captain and Candy's journey to end.  I hope to see more of them in the next Brie release. 
Destined to Dominate is the 2nd part to Safe Haven. While this is a two part series, there is lot of reference and characters showing up from the Brie Submission series. If you have not read that series, I highly recommend it. But let me not get distracted as this is a review for Destined to Dominate. The book continues exactly where it left off in Safe Haven. It chronicles the journey for Candy and Captain. There is a quite a bit of an age difference between the two and just goes to show that age is just a number. This is a book about two people who are searching to find there way emotionally after suffering losses that are soul deep. Yes it contains some BDSM and erotica scenes but it is so much more of an emotional journey that two people who are willing to try for the one they love. A must read.
